Charleswood Historical Society is offering a series of school programs for students and staff in the Charleswood catchment area of the Pembina Trails School Division. The focus of these programs is the history of the Charleswood community from past to present.
The Charleswood Museum is located at 5006 Roblin Blvd in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The museum consists of many interesting artifacts from First Nations and Metis history, early schools and churches, household items, maps of the area, farming, transportation and recreation in pioneer days.
Adaptions as to time and content are made to fit the needs of the class and location of the presentation. The suggested timeline is 45 - 60 including questions.
